In the first fight, the relatively unknown Jezreel produced one of the most unexpected upsets of the year, dethroning the Japanese longtime belt holder in 2 rounds, with a spectacular display of controlled fury and otherworldly speed. Can the Panamian do it again or will Uchiyama be able to show he's got plenty left in the tank? The winner, obviously, raises his credentials in the already stacked superfeatherweight division.
Think it might take longer, but Uchi seems to have lost a step and I don't think he can track down the speedier Panamanian.
Uchiyama looks to have a hard time pulling the trigger. That's just about the worst thing that can happen to a puncher who never had the fastest hands to begin with. Corrales is a correspondingly awful style match up for Uchiyama at this point and time. Might go longer than the first, but I don't think it'll see 8.
I love Uch but Corrales' style is all wrong for him. Unless Uch can catch him with that straight right of his he'll probably get knocked out again.
The physical and psychological damage Uchi suffered does not bode well at the age of 37. You can get better than 1 to 2 about Corrales which is a massive overlay. He should be 1/10.
