I didn't purposely ignore it. I don't understand what you are getting at here.

Anyway here's a quote from you in a thread you started recently.

What is the most money Witter has ever made?

"Is it really £100k?! That seems like such a tiny figure in todays world. At the top level, too. Is it true or has he made more than that? I would say a minumum of £250k."

How much do you think Hatton would have been paid if this fight had been made?

I was aiming that at Betty and Fallow. They called me out on that, yet when I proved them wrong, ran with their tails between their legs.

Probably a few million. Similar to what he got against Lazcano. I'm guessing you're gonna come back asknig me about Hatton's greed....right?

Have you got any idea how much Lazcano was paid?

You say a few million, so for example if that was 2 million Hatton earns 20 times what Witter earns. Or to put it another way Hatton keeps 95% of the money paid out.

Do you think that is reasonable considering Witter was the #2 and WBC Champion?

    Not a clue, mate. You?

Yes. Considering Hatton would bring 95% of the money.

Think of it this way. One man wants to go into business, but to do that, needs a small amount of money to purchase the stock he's planning on selling. He pays for 90% of, with the other guy shelling out for the other 10%. When they start making money, who sould make the most money? It should be 90% to one guy ad 10% to the other.

Witter would bring very little to the fight. It would have gained, what, 5,000 more PPV buyers? 10,000 at a push?

In theory, the number 2 guy should deserve more, but in this case he didn't. It's the same with any mega-draw. Did Tyson deserve a 50-50 cut with his opponents despite bringing in 95%+ of the hype? Does De La Hoya deserve the vast majority of his purses? Did Muhammad Ali deserve almost all of the money he made fighting Spinks? Yes in all three cases.

If Hatton is the reason behind 95% of fans buying he card, he deserves 95% of the purse.

No idea, but I'd imagine it would be more than 5%.

I know Lazcano has had some awful paydays in the past, so it wouldn't suprise me if it was as low as that. I don't know though.

In fairness, does Ricky really do those antics that much, or does the media just ask him about it and he answers them?

The Fatton joke has been beaten into the ground though.

It's not just a modern-day thing for fighters to choose the opponents who provide bigger paydays, even if other guys deserve their chance.

Boxing has always had situations like this.

Witter was undeserving until very recently, and he is now undeserving again.

Hatton doesn't have to beat ever single jww in England before he fights big fights, Hatton was simply already past fighting Witter, he had bigger fish to fry. Thats not to say some of his other opponents weren't undeserving, but he was not "ducking" Witter, Witter simply did not and does not matter.

Easy fellas. Witter got ducked. Not the end of the world. Don't make Hatton a *****. Just means some ass didn't get his payday cause he was too arrogant and rude to do it the right way.

Playfully agravating Witter, while Witter obsesses over his nuts is probably in Hatton's mind the second funniest thing he does. The funniest thing being projectile vomit outside the pub at 4 am in the morning. Can't say I understand the man. But hey he gets punched in the head for a living.

For the most part this sums up how I feel....
I tried to be a fan of Ricky Hatton a few years ago but his style(2 punches and hold, over and over again)was about as fun as watching Baldomir-Mayweather, over and over again, horribly boring and painful to watch
Thats the difference between Hatton and other inside bangers like Margarito, Miranda, Andrade, Vazquez, and Torres, is that they DON'T wrestle....Hatton does this because A. he has no confidence in his ability to box or B. he knows he has no ability and needs to win any way he can(sometimes called dirty fighting)......these are not admirable qualities in a fighter people:deal Sure he has guts, but guts doesnt cut it, many of our favorite blood and guts fighters have had MORE than guts, they've also had boxing ability(which Hatton doesnt)

I was really rooting for Hatton to beat Collazo a few years ago and was amazed how thoroughly Collazo owned him for the last 2/3rds of the fight and was pretty pissed Collazo got robbed

Since then my only motivation to watch him is to see him owned, beaten and defeated

    Cheers:good
