This has been ordered by the WBC for the interim cruiserweight championship. It's a very good fight even though no one is talking about it. So, who do you pick?
I am not sure about that. I lack the experience as a pro. Huck is a tough guy and he is unfair as ****. I am not sure how I could deal with this disgusting fighting style, the constant clinching and fouls. The first rounds would decide everything. Even Povetkin had problems.
Huck just beat Kucher by near shutout, Kucher is about the same level, maybe a little better than Durodola, so its not a foregone conclusion Briedis wins this, Huck's chin is still good enough to take quite a few bombs without going down and he's still dirty enough and his rhythm unorthodox enough to throw Briedis off his game, he doesn't perform well against southpaws (Arslan, Lebedev, Glowacki), obviously, but he won't have that problem with Briedis, and we haven't seen Briedis take a real bomb from a big puncher, Huck's power is underrated, so if its in Germany, it wouldn't shock me if Huck scraped by with another SD.
If anyone knows anything about boxing, they know Marco Huck, and if they know Marco Huck, they gotta know that his style is such that even at 32, he's at least 2 yrs past it. Ola and Firat took his last best rds, and Glowacki started digging Marco's ditch. So yeah......tough out for Marco. Nice scalp on the ever growing legacy of Maris Briedis.
