Really? You should see Lufcrazy's "What does floored mean?" thread. Not only is it the best General thread ever, but the funniest one as well. It has over 1000 contris and it's 99% plus on the side of Lufcrazy. It pops up a couple of times a year, and you'll be seeing it soon. It's worth a read.

I believe Kell Brook showed massive cojones for A.Taking the fight on in the 1st place- challenging a murderous puncher 2 divisions north of his regular fighting weight, a fellow that the seems to be avoided by most of the guys in his own division. And B. Actually trying to win the fight in a convincing fashion. Kudos to Brook.

It's rather ironic that you used the word delusion in there.

I know many boxers who have had orbital bone fractures and kept on fighting. Some even won with that kind of fracture.

I'm not saying Brook shouldn't have quit, if he feels his health can be permanently damaged than that's what you do, afterall, he was fighting two divisions above his natural weight against one of the biggest punchers at the moment. But a quit is a quit, and it was obvious they knew they would stop the fight if there was a risk for injury.

Oscar De La Hoya beat Steve Forbes with an orbital bone fracture.
Erik Morales against MAB and then again against Maidana
Pawel Wolak against Delvin Rodríguez and arguably won the fight but was ruled a drae.
    Antonio Margarito against Manny Pacquiao.
Fernando Vargas agaisnt Mosley, Vargas was controlling the fight and the ref unfortunately stopped it against Vargas' wishes.
    Orlando Salido against Mikey Garcia.
