Lomachenko. I rate Crawford highly too, so he may be there for a minute as Lomachenko adds to the resume and takes the next steps.

Terrance Crawford on the ability to adapt to any style under any pressure like floyd. i rate Lomachenko highly but i think there is a style to beat him same with GGG. sumthin about crawford i could be wrong can't quite pinpoint it, that look in his eyes 1000% no fear like prime tyson looks straight into your soul.

Roman Gonzalez did and continues to do so.

Ward-Kovalev was simply not conclusive enough to alter things.

Crawford and Lomachenko are shining stars but do not have the pedigree of Roman.

roman gonzalez arguably lost to cuadras, also doesn't have the defensive skills to be considered anywhere near the best probably just scraping top 10 p4p if that!

What? The guy has more weight division belts than any active fighter besides Manny. He is easily #1 p4p best right now.

Mayweather takes over Mayweather, I think he'll be back this year to do the 50 so he will be automatically installed number 1.

Nice of Mayweather in that interview to tip his hat to Roman Gonzalez and say he is number 1 P4P at this moment in time.

The Cuadras fight was the first time many fans got a look at the supposed P4P numero uno, and because there was no Roy Jones Jr bolo punch KO concluded he was barely top 10.

But lets just back up a moment.

That was Roman's forth weight division against a naturally bigger, quicker man - and a quality champion. Now pushing fifty fights Roman must deal with quality, bigger guys in an effort to make the kind of money those lambs get paid which Golovkin slaughters.

Also, too many confuse defensive fighting with good defense in general. Roman does not fight defensively but his 'aggressive defense' is superb.
