I expect Teslenko to make a lot of noise. VERY solid prospect with great talent. The guy in the video below makes some good points

He has some CRISP combos. Very sharp puncher. He's a 'problem' coming up for many :D

Not sure who trains him right now. But he needs to find a top notch coach.

I would not mind seeing more of these guys go out to Big Bear and work with Abel Sanchez. One would think the temp0late Sanchez has with Golovkin and now Gassiev would attract other such fighters.

That would be awesome if he could get on with Abel.

I'm pretty excited about him. Definitely one of my top prospects to watch.

I don't expect him to step up too high this year. He's still quite young and very inexperienced.

But I do expect a little bit from him. He needs to start climbing the rankings.

Some guys at the level of like Kali Meehan, Solomon Haumono, Samuel Peters, David Allen, etc would be sufficient for me.

If he doesn't face anyone at least at this level in 2017: May lose interest in him.
Faces anyone more than that: Stoked as ****.

Sergey Kuzmin, another top prospect, is basically a year ahead of Teslenko professionally. Kuzmin did phenomenally well his first year (2015), and did nothing his second (2016). Huge waste of time and talent. Really hoping Teslenko isn't as big a disappointment.

I hadn't watched the video until now:

I'm pretty impressed the guy picked out Teslenko's talent from just his professional debut. Good stuff.

In the past boxers from former Soviet countries were typically euro style strong, good chin, good jab, right hand cocked ready to take you out but a little stiff, robotic and mediocre footwork but countries like the Ukraine seem to be pumping out superbly talented technical wizards like they are coming out of a factory. Usyk and Lomachenko are the best technicians around right now. Teslenko is the latest. He has some definite technical skills. This video is dated and made after his 1st 2 fights. He is now 8-0-8. He's light for a hw but only 24 so should be around a solid 240 in a couple years when he will be ready for the best in the division. I think it's a great thing for boxing to see these talented boxers coming from countries like Ukraine.
