Heard Joe makes he's fighters wear neck braces sparring to cut down on head movement

Head movement in Gallagher's gym gets you 100 push ups

Smith v Dirrell will fight for the WBC vacated title.

Jack said he's never fighting at SMW again. He'd handily beat Smith if he was. Smith has been struggling with Journeymen in his last few fights.

Yes & as we can see that if you apply that logic to Jack he has no chance of beating Groves, Bute or Degale based on getting KTFO by Derek Acorah! Seminal breakdown as per dumbo.

Jack will vacate and move up. He won't rematch Degale at SMW.
Dirrell defeats Smith and take WBC title in what should be a good match up.

How do guys across the pond view Smith? The UK casual market rave about him...I used to be quite a big fan but over the last year or so he's really failed to impress me further.

As usual with UK hype trains, I actually end up underrating them because of all the failed hype from post Calslappy up to 2015.
I kinda rate Call'm Smith as just below the top5 at 168, but with a good chance to beat all of them though. No 168er is P4P material at the moment, and all are quite beatable too.

Like Golovkin, he hasn't really fought anyone to make any sound judgement.

Groves was favourite to beat Jack. ydksab.

I'll rate Smith higher when he fights guys and beats guys like Groves , Bute or DeGale.. I see your bumping my old threads again. Remember when thats all you would do every day under your Aquamarine account. Weirdo.

Callum is a game guy, Direll might have to many layers for him at the moment but Smith would be moving forward and taking advantage of any missteps.

As for Jack if he does immediately move up to take on Adonis I'd give him a solid shot at another title in that weight class....sure he'd be the underdog but he's used to that. BTW how does one not become of a fan of Jack, his moxie is admirable.

Well I completely underestimated Jack last weekend, it was rather disrespectful of me if I'm honest. I knew he was solid enough but I honestly believe DeGale would be too quick for him and end it early and in that first round when Jack was dropped I thought "I didn't think it would be that simple but hey"

But I can't give enough praise to Jack, he got off the floor and fought a great fight, what surprised me most was his strength, for a man saying he was seriously struggling at 168 to fight like he did up until the final bell was so impressive.

Callum Smith on the other hand hasn't looked so impressive to me recently, he has won, he has been stopping his opponents but the level of opposition has been poor considering how highly rated he is and what is expected of him and the big question is have they prepared him for the jump to world level fighters?

Will that lack of top level opposition hurt him? I think it will, I think at this moment in time if Jack fought like he did Saturday night he would beat Smith.
