    I know Williams were at same gym

    Obviously I'm biased but he has great potential. Hope he has a good chin which we haven't seen yet and he's bashed everyone pretty easy so far. I think he can compete on a world stage within next year or so

    People making out smith is levels above Williams!
    Who has smith beat to suggest this
    His resume is poor and has never fought anyone of note ( apart from Canelo who could have stopped him whenever)
    Williams wins this and shows that smith isn't past British level never mind euro/world level.

    Opinions are fine but what your saying is so contradictory.

    If smith hasn't fought no one to suggest he's better than Williams then who has Williams fought to suggest he's better?

    Ronnie Heffron & Gary corocan are better than anyone on smiths resume imo.
    So that's who Williams has fought you blert, you can't have a bad word said about scouse boxers you pleb.

    Haha are you messing you. Nothing to do with where he's from or scouse boxers it's just your talking out your ass. I rate Williams it'll be a great fight but to suggest smith isn't past British level shows how much you haven't got a clue. As for the Gary Corcoran line......get off boxrec and actually watch boxing.

    Who has smith actually beat past British level to suggest he is past British level, Steve o meara was 1 of his best wins and that decision could have went either way, name me 1 fighter who is decent who he has beat?

    Do you actually read back what you write.

    I'm not saying his CV is brilliant it's not, but he's beaten everyone out in front of him at that level, suggesting he's a better than British. I'm not saying he's a world beater but either is Williams at this stage. The fact is he's fought at a higher level than Williams regardless if he got beat or not. Williams would of went the exact same way as smith against Canelo too.

    Put it this way if smith wins would uou say Williams is a domestic level fighter? No so don't be daft. They are both lads on the up

    I'd favour Williams. Think he is fresher and his a bit more about him than Smith.

    Answer the question who has smith beat that is at a good level?
    Who has he beat that suggests he is above British level?
    And your point about "if smith wins Williams" is hypothetical and a stupid point.
    Liam williams is 24
    Liam smith is 28
    Williams has won better opposition than Smith, smith hasn't been in with 1 half decent fighter, but if you disagree with me please state who is a good win for him, cause I'm struggling to see him.

    This is in Manchester not Birmingham as people were discussing. Terry Flanagan defending his title against Petr Petrov as well. Turbo needs to have a really big fight soon surely. Adams debut that day aswell. Might go to this but always paranoid about buying tickets for Frank's shows based on his recent history.
    Reckon this will sell out? Warren hardly does but with BT on board now will mean better advertising on the footy etc and there does seem to be a real appetite for Smith v Williams.
