I'm a fan of Jamie, he's got decent power but also vulnerable, an exciting fighter for a super flyweight.....however I cannot see how he's world level. He's yet to win a british title so how can he be talked about for world titles? He's not the only one, charlie edwards was given a world title without proving anything as a pro.
They tried to make the Paul Butler fight a number of times when he was British champion. Since then Jamie has progressed through the WBO ranks and fighting for a British title at this stage would be a step back. Do you think Khalid Yafai deserved a World title shot?
They turned down the Butler fight 3-4 times saying they needed more time think Butler is a bit better in every department, maybe looking for a easy route so cant blame them, been in some great fights and looking forward to watching him again.
