    10+ years in the Russian Am's and you doubt he's been hit by a puncher? I guess on the pro level you mean. He spars in the same gym as Jean Pascal, who has an okay amount of pop. Barrera isn't exactly a power puncher, or sneaky puncher or anything like that.

    Boxing scene is reporting something totally different. From Beterbiev himself:

    "The events are changing very fast. We just got the confirmation that Sullivan Barrera insisted on the fight and it will take place. I would like to thank Sullivan, that he had his final say in the negotiations. He proved to be a real fighter. I hope the [fans] of boxing will enjoy the fight! As the Russian proverb goes: “Let the strongest one win." Last but not least, I wish to thank the promoters for their agreement to organize the eliminator," Beterbiev said.

    Yeah i saw that too Dren. Googled Beterbiev and found nothing on Barrera pulling out

    And the link Deyell posted said "the American" Barrera. Beterbiev knows very well Barrera is Cuban, as mentioned this on his last FB post

    For those in the know, wouldnt Gvozdyk be the harder fight anyway?

    Fight is on...though yet to be signed and is only agreed on in principle. Barrera wants it but do not think Duva is as confident.

    Thats exactly what Artur posted on FB. Said he was sure Barreras team didnt want it, but at the end of the day Sullivan would have the final say and take the fight

    That **** Duva beter not be trying to convince him not to take the fight. Otherwise shes no beter than the usual sport ruining promoters

    Come on Barrera. Fight the Beast!
