My sportsbook currently shows -190ish for Garcia. Don't get me wrong, Zlaticanin looks like a solid fighter. But the guy won a vacant title against a nobody and now he's up against a fighter of Garcia's quality. Am I missing something?
He's a big puncher has beaten Burns and Petrov neither are easy outs, or a walk in the park, recently walked through Redkach, who's decent, and most importantly Dejan is a natural LW, Mikey while big enough to compete there obviously, has never actually faced a real LW at LW.
There's a lot of mystery involved with this fight, Dejan has beaten some solid names, he was the first to take Redkach's undefeated record, he beat burns in his back yard and a solid contender in Petr Petrov. Not to mention the only reason he beat a bum for the title was because Linares shameless ducked him and took the Crolla fight instead, I think Dejan would have koed Linares too. Mikey whilst being a proven top guy has been out the ring for 2 years and has only fought once and that was against someone he brought up in weight and I don't think he looked great either. I think Mikey will win if he's 80% of what he used to be but bettors are probably not sure where he's at so they're taking a punt on Dejan.
Thanks for the information, guys. I firmly believe though that the sportsbooks are off with this one. I'm betting as much as they'll allow me on Garcia. I just think the talent and skill disparity is too wide with this matchup.
