Bernard Hopkins was coming off victories over Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright. That has to be addressed.

I had Pacman losing both of his fights with Juan Manuel Marquez.

I had Joe Calzaghe beating both Kessler and Hopkins, and the judges agreed with me as did the majority of spectators.

Purely on the basis that Pacquiao lost two of his fights makes it almost impossible for me to put him in front of Joe Calzaghe.

On the other side of the equation, Calzaghe doesn't have a proven elite P4P fighter in his prime on his resume. JMM is not peak, but still in his prime IMO. He is not faded by any means. He is a more proven fighter than Kessler was when Calzaghe beat him.

Simply put - I disagree with anyone who has.

Whether or not they TRULY believe Calzaghe is a superior fighter... Or if he's just more of a favourite fighter.

You use the basis of the judges scoring the Calzaghe fights that you thought were accurate, yet you disagree with the judges of the Pac/JMM fight? A lot of people thought the Calzaghe/Hopkins fight was controversial as well.. A controversial win for Calzaghe against a 43 over the hill fighter who acted the second half of the fight, not to mention he was knocked down and then a controversial win for Pacquaio over JMM as both were two evenly matched top 5 p4p prime fighters with the loser, JMM, being knocked down.. Hrmm..:think

I had Manny Pacquiao losing both fights with Juan Manuel Marquez, like I just told you, so there is no reason for you to be puzzled.

Fair enough.. Question.. Do you look at those fights as JMM losses, but a robbery givin to Pacquiao, or do you look at them as officially won fights by JMM in your eyes and ignore the real official decisions? Do you think the fights could have gone either way with you giving JMM the slight edge, or did JMM clearly win both?

Better offense better defense ,more dominat while moving up ..Manny for all his sucsess lacks all around boxing ability to get him imo past the likes of a MW or even a Joe C at this time ..I have never ranked a fighter p4p based soley on wins !

More dominance moving up????? Manny moved up 6 weight divisions and KTFO a legend in Erik Morales. Calzaghe moved up 1 division and won a SD over a 43 year old Hopkins. As for better offense, based on what? Manny's offense has sent 3 HOF fighters a to the canvas a total of 11 times...how can your offense get any better than that? Pac punches vs Joe's slaps, Pac's power vs Joe's 1000hits landed and still cant stop the guy, Pac's fists vs Joe's brittle fists You must be on drugs if you think Joe has shown more dominance moving up in weight and have better offense...

You expect a guy who started at 106 to go beat up on a MW? Lets see Joe go up to HW and take on Wlad.

Bottom line scale Pac up a few weights, scale Joe down a few weights and make the fantasy fight happen......

Joe gives him a boxing masterclass, Pac's style is made for Joe...

    1 - Floyd
    2 - Joe
    3 - Pac

While im on it, scale Mayweather / Calzaghe..... dare i say it Joe outworks him and beats him UD/SD points...

    1 - Joe
    2 - Floyd
    3 - Pac

    dont hate.....:D

BS. kessler won 4 rounds against joe and hes a robotic fighter with nowhere near the speed, explosiveness and p4p power of Pac.

Scale Pac up and scale Joe down and what you will see is Pac walking through Joe's slaps whilst Pac lands the real punches. Unlike Lacy, Pac is very fast, very explosive, long reach with straighter punches and better ability to counter. Pac would KO Joe. If BHop's right put joe on the floor, imagine what Pac's straight left would do on a p4p level.

Now thats BS, boxing is opinions, thats yours, but its wrong....

Yeh he just walks through Joes 'slaps' whilst Joe stands in front of him and uses non of his **** hot footwork to dance circles round Pac whilst peppering him from every angle...

Infact Pac plants one on the button and Joes world elite heart gives out too, he doesnt rise and gets KTFO.....

Fantasy fight not Fantasy world ya know....

Tell me what is there to Joe's attack? his punches are wide, he tried to go aggresive against Bernard and his slaps didnt look too good. Its gonna be Pac's straight punches vs Joe's slaps. Logic tells me the equally as fast but much more powerful punches of Pac is gonna win out. On top of that, when was the last time Pac has been KD? Joe was KD last fight by a guy not considered to be a huge puncher.

Sure he could try to outbox Pac but where is that gonna get him when MAB & JMM failed to do so? Both of whom are equally skilled, if not overall more skilled. Joe just carries more speed. He danced around Lacy, JMM & MAB danced around Juarez...wanst much dancing around Pac. Pac has very fast feet and hands, aswell as relentless pressure and explosiveness. On paper it looks very easy to beat him, but its been proven time and time again that its not so easy to exercise when you got someone like that in front of you.

He couldn't KO JMM I doubt he would KO a scaled down version of Calzaghe.
