What does it mean to the heavyweight division?

No importance whatsoever - Witherspoon was not a very good opponent.

Unless he gets himself in shape, Estrada will never defeat a top level heavyweight.

He's actually been in pretty decent shape his last few fights. What's REALLY gonna keep Estrada from doing much in the HW division is his COMPLETE lack of punching power. He can't even really knock out tomato cans - he will be woefully outgunned when he faces top HWs.:yep

It means nothing, I think HW is going to get quite good soon, and I don't see Estrada being in the picture. Klitschko, Haye, Solis, Peter and Povetkin will be exciting in any combination, but Peter needs to get called for those hits behind the head.

Estrada lacks power but he is slick ala Chambers. For a while Chambers was giving Povetkin fits but fought timid a majority of the fight and struggled

I don't think Haye will be a worldbeater att HW but Estrada wouldn't even be a speedbump for Haye, thats how bad Estrada sucks.

Estrada needs to fix that boring problem he has so I don't change the channel every time he is fighting someone

I kinda feel sorry for Estrada. He's got skills, he's REALLY comfortable in the ring, he's got a great array of punches... but he's got ZERO pop.. I mean ZERO. He makes Maliganggi look like Tyson in comparison.

How many flush uppercuts did he land on Witherspoon and he still wasn't close to taking him out... the stoppage was decent, because Witherspoon wasn't offering much back and was taking flush shots, but he wasn't in danger of getting KO'd at all.

He's going to be a gatekeeper type, that's his limit. He'll be able to show how good other fighters are, but for him, he's never going to be a contender.

Jason Estrada is a less powerful Eddie Chambers ( sounds funny, i know) and he is finally getting his act together.
I don't think he will ever trouble the top guns in the heavyweight division due to his complete lack of power but he is a good yardstick for the fringe contenders.

Anyone ever actually hear the story about how Estrada got his nickname ? Apparently the dude got it while he was hitting on some fine ass Euro chick in Athens in 2004. Right as he was about to seal the deal the girl apparently asked him to drop trow and show her the goods. Being the cocky moFo that he was Estrada whipped it out and showed the lady what time it was. The girl, who was more phallicly inclined than most ladies proceeded to giggle and refuse to give him the business. Estrada (allegedly) looked puzzled and said "What's wrong "? the girl replied "You are too short for me " and proceeded to walk away. In a hurried attempt to real her back in and convince her to come party with him, Estrada yelled to the woman "...Yeah but its a Big Six..." Unbeknownst to Estrada, Andre Ward (His Olympic teammate) had had been listening to the entire conversation. Ward, after severely razzing Estrada convinced him to make the name stick and boom there you have it. Its actually now apart of olympic boxing team lore and if you see any 2004 members ask them about Estrada's nickname and they will start laughing. One of the funniest stories I have ever heard and its true.
