Hes really the only super middle that I could indeed see beating G. Not sure Id favor him just yet but its getting close to that (imo)

though im not sure what should be so surprising about a younger, primed, bigger fighter who is a good fighter in his own right beating the smaller older one coming up in weight. Its a pretty natural conclusion.

It's hard to know just how good Zurdo is. From what I've seen he could very good, and yes if so I could see him beating GGG, especially the older GGG later this year or next. He might even be favourite.

However, Zurdo hasn't exactly proven himself yet, he has two good wins: an old Abraham and Vlasov. So it's hard to be certain yet.

Does he need a better team or what? Imo the guy should be on his way to ruling the division and building a brand but seems hes still on the fringes of the sport. Is he just being avoided by the inner circle? Will he break out this year?

As a quality undefeated Mexican and possible future ruler of 168, you would just think hed be more popular.

He has been injured for a while though ... I do rate him though, would like to see him in the big fights.
