I've called Wilder the best HW fighter H2H in the world for the last couple of years.

    1. He's not fat
    2. He has power
    3. Wlad is old

That's the current state of the HW divison. The standards are set so low that, that may actually be all you need to reign supreme. HW is pure trash.

But now it's getting to the point that I cannot support his opposition. 1 top 10 fighter in his career so far. I just can't accept that anymore. I can't. Its just ridiculous.

I'm a fan as well but the time to fight someone with a pulse is coming up, it's some exciting fights that can be made so it's really no reason it shouldn't...

Its the year of the step up. Theres really no way Wilder can avoid a top 5 fighter this year. Well maybe an injury might do it but even that could frusterate a lot of people despite its validity. For me, he has to fight a top 5 and for thats in no particular order Wlad, Joshua, Ortiz, Parker (Wilder makes up the 5). Pulev and Haye would be respectable but its not what I want to see for the longest serving champion of the 3.

When a promoter and a trainer have faith in thier fighter they put him in big fights. The Promoter wants the revenue and the trainer wants the accolades.

When a promoter and a trainer do not have faith in thier fighter they end up with a list of opponants like Deontay Wilder does.

I don't believe you're a fan. I'm not a fan of Wilder so I don't really care for his opposition much. That said, these weak ass title defenses are getting old. Since he was injured, I'm cool with a tuneup but 2017 has got to be make or break for Wilder.

Well, I'm not exactly a Wilder fan.

But I do admit that he has great dimensions for a HW, he does have big power and has the potential ... potential, I say, to be somebody special.

However, for him to do that he's gotta face somebody credible. Duhaupas, Szpilka and Stiverne were decent, if not exactly spectacular. They're the sort of filler every good champion has on his resume. However, that's the baseline. If that's all Wilder aspires to, then he'll never amount to anything.

On the plus side, however, I will be able to continue my series on Wilder's horrible opposition.

I hear that his next opponent will be two midgets in a coat, standing on each other's shoulders.

    :)

I don't give a flying rats ass if you don't think I'm a fan. Bottom line, I believe he's the best HW in the world H2H. But I'm losing my patience. His level of competition is absurdly horrible.

I am not frustrated because I know he cannot fight sub-par competition forever, especially if he every wants to be considered very good or great. I'm not overly impressed by his knockouts and I certainly have not bought into the hype of him being some Foremanesqe beast, but the guy is definitely a natural KO puncher.

I can't say that Wilder can or will beat the top guys in the division. He has many deficiencies as a fighter which have been exposed by lesser fighters before. What I can say, however, is that he has a chance to beat anyone thanks to his god given punching power. He deserves a chance to show and prove. If he never steps up, he will merely be considered a decent fighter who held a title in the weak post-Klitschko era and he will have squandered his talent. If he does step up, who knows?

When Wilder fights a Fury, Parker, Povetkin, Ortiz, Haye or Wlad he gets some credit...

Those are fighting men he should be facing.

Not Polish cab drivers and Mexican street sweepers.

He is disgrace to the sport and the WBC should be enforcing a real fight- not letting this farce continue because they are hardly making money out his half empty stadium appearances in Alla-bumma.
