Mayweather is one of the main reasons boxing is in the doldrums today. Other fighters saw the way he picked & chose opponents, ducking those wanted no part of.. Now they try to do the same get high rewards for minimal risk

Yeah, I know.. I totally agree. Sometimes I think it might be best for most fighters to take an early loss and lose the burden of the '0'. They tend to take more risks then and, like you, I don't care about a fighter being unbeaten. History still rewards those who came up short now and then but still delivered the goods more often than not...

How many of these opponents were in their prime when Floyd faced them ??
Two fighters arguably beat him Castillo 1 & Maidana 1
When he EVENTUALLY fought Pacquaio Pac was sabotaged. NOT a fair fight but corruption at its worst
Ran & "retired" to avoid Margarito & Oscar rematch

Good, now **** off and find something you do enjoy.

The reality is though you are just projecting your dissatisfaction with your life on to boxing.

    Right
Hey man I pay for HBO and Showtime SOLELY for boxing. And I buy several PPVs per year never streamed a fight in my life. Plus I go to several fights a year. Just saying it's hard to stay excited with the sport knowing that the great matchups are far and few between. There's a reason why NFL, NBA, MBL have a 10 times the rating.

As for my real life, bch please

I don't mind catchweight fights if titles are not on the line. That's a mockery of the sport.

ok maybe your right. but what these fighters must understand is that floyd earned. floyd did not gain all this leverage on all these fight negotiations just because. floyd earned. bottom line some one should have beat floyd earlier in his career so he couldnt have such demands . if some one coulda taken him out when he was more beatable or more active then it would be a differ story. because floyd is beatable and always was but he played his cards right. and floyd did fight the top guys more so then any one else
