Barros has Hep C+ so wasn't granted a licence.

Do kind of feel bad for Selby but let's be honest his career has become a joke. Horrible mismanagement. He needs to fight 3-4 times this year to get things back on track.

 

See this is what happens when you are mismanaged and are not fighting often enough. You get hit with an unfortunate situation like this and before you know it you are looking at a whole year out of the ring. Selby and his team need to get their act together!

 

Really feel for Selby.... putting all the graft in camp, making weight etc for this to happen.

 

The medical results need to be made public a lot earlier - you dont catch hep c overnight. A medical should precede contract-signing.

Like Degale I believe Selby is promoted by Matchroom but managed by Haymon.

No idea, I'm sure fighters have something in their contracts to account for this situation.
