I think I'm gonna have to DVR the SAG Awards. Its actually not hard for me in the least this year, one the shittiest years in film in decades.

This fight was a clear win for LSC, the first fight the lean went to Frampton though I had it a draw.

I usually use January to catch up on all the films that are winning awards that I didn't see last year, but this year I've been screwing around too much. I don't think I've seen any of the big pictures.

    What I saw:
    Rogue One
    Doctor Strange
    The Arrival
    Jason Bourne
    Hail Caesar
    Star Trek Beyond
    Suicide Squad
    The Wailing
I Am Not a Serial Killer
    Spectral
    Midnight Special
    Green Room
    10 Cloverfield Lane
    The Nice Guys
    X-Men Apocalypse
    Captain America Civil War
    Deadpool
    Batman v Superman
    Train to Busan
    The Accountant

    Didn't see:
    Weiner
    Hell or High Water
    The Witch
    The Handmaiden
    Silence
    Don't Breathe
    Hacksaw Ridge
    Fences
    La La Land
    Moonlight
    Manchester by the Sea

I liked The Arrival, The Wailing, Green Room, and Deadpool. I didn't really love anything but I'd throw John Goodman a best supporting Oscar for what he did in 10 Cloverfield Lane and probably give Deadpool best comedy.

Don't we say that the year is shitty almost every year? I'm not willing to give up yet. Fences, The Handmaiden, and The Witch look really promising.

TV was a little better. Westworld, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Rick and Morty, Stranger Things, etc.

Also, 2013 was a pretty shitty year for film as well. The only thing I've really liked from 2013 was the German mini series Generation War. 2005 sucked too.

I'll respond to you tomorrow, I've seen about 30 or 40 so far, but my brain is fried at the moment. And I can't think of any of them although I did love The Neon Demon and Knight Of Cups.

Since I feel like I half assed the main event a little, since I was flipping back and forth to HBO during the the their corner breaks, I'm going to rescore it.

    Round 1

Leo not as aggressive working behind his jab, lands a right hand behind his jab, Leo lands an overhand right, Frampton attempts to corner him and eats a counter left, Leo pumping out his jab and shooting rights down the middle backing Frampton up, Frampton catches as he's cornered with a quick left hook ad follows up with another, Frampton gets caught with a counter hook as he lunges at Leo in the corner, they start exchanging in the middle of the ring, Leo gets the better of it.

Bloody hell, there's some people talking crap on ESB at times.

Let me put it simply for you....Frampton clearly won the first fight and Santa Cruz clearly won the 2nd fight.
    No robberies, no controversy.
Just get over yourselves and your rose-tinted specs for your preferred fighter.

    Round 2

Carl stalking Leo throws sharp left hook to his forehead, both being very tactical and cautious, Carl catches him with a short left hook on the inside, Leo fires back and misses, Frampton is trying to find the proper range to let his hands go, Leo keeping him at bay with his jab, Leo swings and misses, Carl backing him up along the ropes with his jab, both feinting each other, Frampton whips in a hard right hook to the temple, Leo takes it well and fires back hook that grazes Carl, Leo walking him down and lands a solid hook that backs Frampton up before the bell.

    Round 3

Carl backing Leo up with his jab, Leo lunges in with a flurry nothing lands clean, Carl lands hard straight right backing Leo into the corner, Carl getting his jab on track now, Carl lands on the inside with a one two, Carl overreaches eats a jab up top, and another, Frampton clips him up top, Leo hooks him to the body, Frampton lands straight right and a hard one two while Leo's trapped in the corner, Carl flurries Leo counters him , but Carl wins exchange.

Watching Vargas vs Berchelt now, I didn't give this a lot of attention the first time, really wish I would have went with Berchelt I had myself talked into it. But picking LSC I thought it was too risky picking another fight the odds were against. I honestly thought after watching the fights of Berchelt's I found on YT that there was a above average chance Berchelt got the cut stoppage on Vargas, with the way Francisco's eyebrows just shred up.
