Did Hagler dare prove to be great?

  1. Yes, you can prove to be great in 1 weight class

    90.3%
  2. No, you have to move up. Broner dared to be great. Hagler didn't

    5.8%
  3. Golovkin hater here, this one's got me stumped

More crap coming forth from you. You've been hammered and owned. I never denied Leonard LaLonde was at 168. In fact, that fight was for a 168 and a 175 title which I've written about on more than one occasion. Nothing you have written has indicated Leonard got better as he went up in weight. Nothing.

If you saw the Hearns Barkley fights, because it's obvious that you haven't due to what you've written, in their 1st you would have seen Tommy boxing Iran's ears off and even badly hurting him, until Iran landed a home run right. In their 2nd, a slower, past it and above his best weight Iran never landed any punch remotely like the one he did in the 1st and actually won a decision against a clearly more skillful than Iran, but obviously past his best Tommy, even though he was older, slower and clearly past his best himself. Oh wait, I suppose Iran was better at 175 than he was at 160 as well according to you, lol? Problem is, you have been owned and destroyed on this thread and have proved nothing that you have written. I notice you still haven't dealt with any of the facts that I wrote down that you've ignored.

Ive responded to everything read. You have damaged your own points. You mention as you put it, faded Tommy and faded Iran yet many rate Toney beating what you claim was a faded Iran. Tied yourself up lol

Are you denying that Iran was faded in their 2nd fight?

I havent said either way. I wasnt even in a discussion about that. The original thing I was saying that I didnt feel there was as many top MWs around the 6ft height like when during Hopkins reign. Yes there were some but not as many and that it was a different era and I stand by that. Many were not as big as some of the MWs of today. You mentioned Hearns and we started talking Hearns as a MW and I said I felt in some ways Hearns was not as good a MW as he was at higher weights and gave examples of fighters who are better at certain weights

Here's you mentioning that Leonard is another example of "some fighters being better suited at a certain weight than others." because he beat LaLonde. The only one squirming here is you.

Of course you haven't said that either way as you can't deny the truth. I asked if you were denying it. Once again, are you denying Iran was faded at 175, yes or no? And nothing you've written proves Tommy was better at 175 than he was at 160. Nothing.

Uh. Here's your quote (again): "Leonard was much further gone (emojis). He had just got off the floor and beaten a LHW in Lalonde at SMW which once again agrees with what I have said about some fighters are better suited at a certain weight than others." Those are your words. You have pwned yourself with your own words. Keep squirming.

All the People saying Hagler, ducked Mike McCallum are full of it, Hagler retired in 1987, Mike McCallum didn't fight for the Middleweight title until 1988 and he lost that fight to Sumbu Kalambay via UD. McCallum was a great super welterweight Champion. MacCallum couldn't beat Toney at middleweight. I have seen McCallum saying the great fighters ducked him. His best wins at middleweight are over Herol Graham, Steve Collins, Michael Watson and Hagler beats these guys too.

This is you scratching for something. I was never convinced about Barkley as a MW. He was beaten by a late in career former LW. Benn won early against him
