I believe so. 1-1, competetive fights, good paydays. It's the right thing to do and I hope he's a man of his word.

It happens next. Neither guy wants to fight and possibly lose to another fighter before clearing this up.
Remember Morales loss to Raheem before he rematched Pacquiao and almost messed everything up.

Yeah especially since the Jackal went back to America. It was a close fight, I scored it by two for LSC so there's reason for a third.

yeah, but it wouldnt be the 1st time its happened and it certainly wouldnt be the worst thing that happened in the sport. I really hope he doesnt but if LSC did walk away from a trilogy id hope he didnt get too much flack for it.

Only way Cruz rejects a 3rd fight is if Frampton insists the fight take place in Belfast. Cruz ain't going to no Belfast.

Not if he faced Valdez or Rigo next, then who cares for 3rd Frampton fight.

Yes it would be, it would be a Andre Ward move. He also said he would go to Belfast. He should be a man of his word.

Wasn't Leo gunning for a 3rd fight anyway? It'd be weird if he backed out now.

first fight was closer than the rematch. Leo lost his head in the first fight and definitely realised that he has too much going for him to lose his head again - massive reach advantage, great jab and tempo control. Fought well inside and out, Frampton is a warrior but Santa Cruz made full use of his advantages and he'll be very confident of a second win imo so the trilogy is likely.

Not sure if Frampton can do anything different to overcome a composed and prepared Santa Cruz but I hope he does.
