Fighters with boring personalities who were big draws

    were there any? I know McClellan didn't have much of a personality besides the tough guy/thug image he had, but because of that he was a pretty decent draw during his time. Pacquiao is a boring person but he drew really well for reason.

    I think it might have to do with where there from also.

    For example, I love JMM and he's my all time favorite boxer. But I wouldn't say he's the most exciting guy. Plus he has a whole country behind him and same with Canelo.

    Hagler . I liked the way he let guys talk. then use it as motivation and beat the living s____ out of them.

    Lennox, he was an interesting character but not particularly exciting, still drew well as champ.

    Probably made in excess of 200 mil and never flipped a table or smacked a fighter at a conference.

    Though I think he did shadowbox the cardboard cutout of Potvetkin when he was a no show for his IBF title shot.

    So key characteristics seem to be 1. Latino. 2. Black + British citizenship. 3. Fought a big draw (Holyfield v Tyson, Wlad v Haye, Pacquiao vs JMM, etc).
