It was a close fight, I actually scored it a draw but any close rounds I leaned towards Frampton because I was really tired when I watched it and couldn't be bothered being over analytical. 3rd match is just what we need.

This is as good an example of someone using their reach advantage as you'll find.

Yes he was...don't you see? Frampton pulled off a massive stroke the first time. Caught LSC off guard...as I predicted at the time. But guess what? LSC has figured out how to beat Frampton now...as has Selby etc. These guys are too BIG for tiny Carl. Too big, not too good.

CArl hasn't "grown into" featherweight. He has eaten and weigh lifted his way out of super bantam. ...for short term gain...but long term he won't be successful at feather.
If at al possible he needs to return to 122. It's where someone his size belongs. Can't you see that? Are you that thick?

You must understand the critical importance of weight classes sugar. The move from super bantam to feather is historically almost impossible. All the more so today with feathers being the size of light welterweight years ago.
Carl is not and never will be a featherweight in today's game. Take my word for it. Carl's career is in serious trouble now. He should never have left super bantam if at all possible.

Ridiculousness of this thread on a scale of 1 to 10.

It gets a 10 from len.

The money fight is in Belfast. Hopefully they can persuade him over
Frampton didn't look sharp and was out of range most of the fight. He looked very predictable.

Maybe Selby next? Millennium stadium or Windsor Park

Trilogy makes sense but maybe not next. Would be good to see both in with others first. Three in a row would be a bit much but would love to see the decider.

id like to see it good fight, everyone saying Leo cant lose because he won last fight.
They could fight 10x and be 5-5. id personally bet 5/6 1/1 12/1draw

I agree, I think Frampton has reached his ceiling tbh, I don't think he can beat any of the champions in his weight class, and if he moves down he could not avoid Rigondeux again and remain credible. I think Frampton is in an awkward spot. I'm not being down on Frampton, but could never see why people rated him as p4p 1 in the UK.

Didn't you go say that you thought that it was a mistake on Frampton part for taking agreeing to fight in Vegas and that he might get robbed as a result?!

LSC just fought a clever fight, far more measured, used his natural advantages and did his very best to stick to his game plan.

It was a tactical game of bluff and double bluff and LSC got the better of it at the weekend.

In a strange kind of way it was always going to be a little easier for LSC this time around because he was the man who lost the first fight and had to change things up, he knew last time wasn't good enough and they had to rethink his tactics and approach.

And on the flip side Frampton must have been thinking along the lines of "if it isn't broke don't try and fix it" and Frampton said himself he expected LSC to bring exactly the same strategy in the second fight.

I will go all Adam Smith now.... a third fight will be a fascinating tactical battle and I wouldn't write Frampton off at all.

It's mad. Nobody believes Santa Cruz would win the rematch and now nobody believes frampton will win the 3rd fight. Haha your only as good as your last fight. Ha. If frampton wins the 3rd people will be saying there is no way Santa Cruz can win the 4th

It doesnt quite tie in with your theory then that he is all wrong from Frampton and he got lucky in the first fight? If you then thought that Frampton was also gonna win the rematch but could be robbed by the Vegas judges hence you saying that it is a mistake accepting to fight in Vegas

I didn't think Carl looked himself from the first second of round one. Looked worn out to me, I was impressed how cleverly he paced himself to do the distance ok, though of course he was reduced to brawling at every opportunity. I think he can beat LSC again.
