I keep hearing people knocking Loma for losing to Salido (which he really didn't).

With how easily Garcia beat salido no, it would be crazy to suggest if he had all that amateur and wsb experience he would lose to salido, and lomachenko is a good boxer but he did lose to salido and quite clearly, no one is going to give salido credit for that win but he won and won by a few rounds

Since the only reason Salido went down to start with was because of a perfectly placed shot that cracked his orbital bone, the likelihood of a younger more inexperienced Mikey without the accuracy and timing landing a similar shot that would just so happen to crack his orbital bone is 1 in a million, the fight between a younger Mikey and Orlando would go from round 1 just like their match ended, with Garcia on the backfoot looking for a way out after Orlando pressured and fouled the hell out of him and most likely broke his nose with his head again, or at the very least hit him in the nuts 50 times.

Mikey was crumbling in their match and starting to get a real panicked look in his eyes, Loma on the other hand was getting stronger and stronger, and managed to finish stronger in his first 12 rounder, which just so happened to be his second freaking match, than the wily veteran of countless 12 rounders.

So the answer is **** no, I doubt Mayweather would have beaten Salido in his second match.

Lomachenko is still undefeated in my opinion he that was one of the worst robberies ive seen.

Then again theres no shame in having a close fight to Salido he has beat a lot of top fighters and most of his losses were very close and early in his career when e didnt take boxing as serious

what in the world, you say it was a robbery and then it was a close fight? Salido beat lomachenko and clearly imo i don't think anyone would argue with the scoring here most had it 4 points in favor of salido

Garcia beat the crap out of Salido and would have beaten easily in his FIRST pro debut.
Against Salido, Garcia floored Salido four times in the fight and if Salido didn't head butt him, he would have stopped Salido.

If you use the triangle opponent theory you guys love to use, then based on their common opponent, Salido, Garcia would KO Lomo in round 4.

That wasn't Loma's second pro fight. He fought for WSB for money. Look at Canelo, most of his "pro" fights were probably the same level as Lomachenko's amateur fights. Canelo was 44-0 when he fought Mayweather! If Loma was Mexican, that would have been pro fight #202.

Mikey needed his brother to step in and save him from Salido in his 31st pro fight. So, no.

Wasn't a robbery very dirty on Salidos side but he did what he had to do to win

Lomachenko lost, if someone wants to be very generous to Loma and argue that he may have nicked it, I can accept that, but a better argument can be mae that Salido beat Loam. No robbery here.

With that said, woulda, coulda, shoulda... IF Mikey had the boxing pedigree that Loma had before turning pro....?
