    Does Eubank Jr get the same treatment Joe gave his father or worse? Or does Eubank do the seemingly impossible and beat Calzaghe??

    Who takes this one?

    Although Eubank Jr is a very good fighter... I think Joe is at least a couple of levels above. In my opinion Calzaghe busts him up with his overwhelming volume of punches and actually starts clowning him late. Late TKO or KO for Joe.

    What?? It's not an absurd hypothetical matchup! I think Eubank Jr would present a good challenge. He just would fall to the superior fighter after a good effort in my opinion.

    Eubank Jr is a quality fighter, but Calzaghe was the GOAT. I'm not sure Eubank Jr could beat some fighters at 168 who hardly had a 10th of The Welsh Dragon's talent such as Andre Ward, Roy Jones and James Toney.

    Agreed! But Eubank Jr would get in the shape of his life for this one and his dad would help him get ready for it as if his life depended on it. But ultimately Super Joe would box his skull in after Chris fights his heart out. It would be a touching showing of the heart I think Jr has... but it wouldn't be enough. He'd be on his face or back when the fight ended :beer-toast1:

    Junior would never take the fight. On a side note Jnr's next opponent Quinlin was exactly the type of fighter Calzaghe loved to fight early in his career.
