fighters moving up from 160 like murray and Rubio went 12 rounds with dirrel and groves, abraham dirrel himself could not even put a dent on Curtis stevens infact he to preoccupied with stevens power degale and groves hit about the same and both would not be able to stop murray for example thoughts?
After watching Benadivez last week I think the 168 division might have one. Now I know the opponent wasn't good but Benadivez looks heavy handed to me.
Yeah, it's kind of weird. 168 doesn't have any heavy hitters like 160 or 175, but it does have skilled fighters. I'm confident that DeGale would work over everyone at 160 aside from Golovkin, but I think Lemeiux and Stevens hit harder than him. It isn't like boxing is solely decided by who can hit harder so it doesn't really matter.
It's not that there are no punchers. It's the pure FACT that 168 has some real tough guys there. You underhandedly made this about Golovkin by naming his former opponents, when Golovkin has never fought or KOd anyone at 168. When and if he ever does then you can say this stupid, dumb, nonsense.
hhahahahhaa the overrating of Degale continues! Unbelievable! Degale just isn't very good it's as simple as that! He could easily have 6 losses on hos record - Groves, Wiczielski, Dirrell, Medina, Bute, Jack. In most other division he'd only be European level.. hes lucky 168 is weak.
The thing is, this dude thinks he's clever in the way he makes his point via the backdoor. But it's so obvious, I kinda feel sorry for the small-minded chap. He's just not very good at it.. lol
Never seen Smith, but was just gonna say that Groves. He can bang for sure. Very very few have the chin will and heart of the Iron Cobra
...Yeah probably. Wait no, I think he's better than Lara who is considered the #1 at 154 since Canelo doesn't really count. Damn I never thought about it like that. I went through the weightclasses in my head, got down to 130 and quit. That's really interesting. I mean, take away Golovkin and he has 160 beat but even for the other divisions if you take away the #1 I don't think DeGale is head and shoulders above everyone there. Honestly Andrade is probably better than DeGale and once you factor in power and what they do at their respective weights Jermall Charlo and Julian Williams also have him beat there.
HW, CW, jr MW don't have a clear #1 yet but I think Joshua, Usyk, Andrade, Jermall Charlo are all better and more complete fighters than him. I'm not entirely convinced if he's really a superior talent to someone like a Linares or even Saunders.
