He was dropped hard and wouldn't have survived imo. When I say flattened I meant dropped flat on his back. That was a bit dubious on my part. I commend guys who turn it around after ko/too losses. I love those types of fighters. By no means am I slighting him. He's vulnerable. We just have to differ when it comes to Vargas.

Berchelt seemed visibly bigger and stronger than Vargas. Vargas looked slow and a step behind all night. Vargas' defense was never good to begin with as he has a good chin to rely on.

Berchelt Davis is a good fight.

Russell Jr was a can killer. The only reason people rate him at all is because they want to elevate Lomachencko. These are the same guys who bash Floyd for fighting Maidana and Berto and those 2 are exciting fighters who were champions.

Agreed. Fans are responsible for the sports' negative aspects which said fans complain about. Another great example: Devon Alexander.

edited for typing too much to try to sound cool

Fair enough. But as I said before I think Berchelt would always have been a problem for any version of Vargas.

Berto is definitely a poor champion he's on par with Russell jr only coz of Russell jr poor resume eventhough Russell has way more talent.

Maidana is a solid dude I'm not pissed at Floyd for fighting him, his Broner scalp was one of the best scalp around that weight class excluding Kell Brooks Porter win and maybe one or two others which happened around that time

If Loma was upset the ref was using them they should have started to use them back.

They tried to Cherry pick this guys as they thought he was a washed up champ but unluckily for them Salido was in a mood to die for that victory and this dude was gunna do whatever it took to win and he did, he did some illegal stuff but **** it he did what he needed to get the job done.

Wouldn't lump them in together...Maidana was better than Berto.

I don't get it. Who disrespected Vargas? Why would they? This sounds like some poorly disguised attempt to excuse somebody ducking somebody, though I'm not going to read enough here to try and figure out who.

Im sure Lomachenko could fight all those 3 on the trot and not be contemplating retirement.

You're acting as if it's Loma paying Salido's purse. He offered Walters $300k of his money, this man has NO FEAR. I will sooner believe in an honest politician than in Loma ducking.

I'm just saying Lomo should do whatever it takes, tip of the hat like he did the Axe man as you beautifully pointed out BTW, to get this rematch.....So the word "ducking" might of been too strong but FFS make the fight LOMO

I want to see the rematch as well as I believe Loma will win by KO but it was Salido that turned down the fight. Are there any details on Salido $ offer?
