Ward lost and any reasonable person realizes that. Still he showed tremendous resolve not folding up and trying to fight back. Tons of heart.
He has to give Kovalev rematch if will destroy his legacy if he doesn't.

 

Kovalev won the fight and I am not alone is saying so. I have eyes and can see........................wonder why SOB is afraid of the rematch? They will take him to court. If you fight in Russia there can be a Russian judges, perhaps another from Italy, one from America, etc., neutral judges and referee are important. Anyone who claims SOB won that fight is either blind or very prejudiced. Even Roid Jones and Max Kellerman had Kovalev winning that they wanted Ward to win badly........ever wonder why the crowd booed in SOB's territory, fans filled is SOB fans? Yet they booed the criminal decision loudly~!

 

The only thing that needs to be prepared is a large ice pack and painkillers for Andre when they wake him up from his fabulous dream where he was Father Christmas, flying through the sky with his reindeer. The reality will be that Kovalev has beaten him for a second time, this time by KO.

 

Kovalev was so scared that he won rounds 10 and 12, and arguably 11 as well

That's a huge red flag, it's not like we all haven't seen the fight. Rounds that were impossible to give to ward had ALL 3 judges giving them to ward, go figure that

 

i truly beleive ward will win the rematch again too
when ward was hitting kovalev with some hard body work, and clean shots, he soon when down hill.

 

People can hate Ward all they want, at the end of the day he's an intelligent gentleman and one of the only people in boxing that I could listen to.
I do believe that to a large but obviously not full extent, people create their own luck and the good luck comes from the mindset Ward is talking about in this video.

Ward is a winner.

While I appreciate a such a person, from a boxing perspective, Ward has been less satisfying. I believe that a person should stick to what they say, and if Ward said he'd rematch Kovalev, agreed to terms, and signed his name at the bottom, then he needs to do what he'd said he would do. He may be well spoken but judging by his actions, he's being a big baby.
