Got schooled by BJS who didn't even train, completely bricked it when Eddie Hearn called his bluff and actually got him GGG, ducked Tommy Langford and is now strutting around like a big man because he beat some no mark for some mickey mouse strap. He's become a joke.

Eubank Jn is such a big middleweight and along with his skill set, that makes him a dangerous prospect at that weight.

However, I'm not sure if others agree, but I felt he was more than matched for size against Quinlan. It looked exactly what it was to me...a fighter stepping up in weight and losing some of the attributes (size and strength) that make him a dangerous middleweight.

He needs to step back down quickly before he gets found out.

Mate, he fought a man with 12 fights and 11 wins. Most of them in Australia. He is not a champion he'd barely be at British level with that record if he was from here. Oh yes I forgot Eubank only wants to fight people at that level despite saying he's too good for it.

It's not just his lack of punch power that is his problem. He does all this flash stuff for a rest I reckon. Every fight I've seen his mouth is gaping after round 2/3. This could be that his only real attribute is speed and is very explosive so he has to go all out on that and he doesn't have enough slow twitch fibres so gases.

I also thought he looked very small for 168 last night which is why I called for 2 big British super middles to fight him because although size isn't everything I just want to see him kod so much.

Disagree. Quinlan no mug. Knew his way around a ring. Great jab, handy uppercut, could slip and roll off the ropes...a mug can't do that sorta stuff Johnny.

I didn't say he was a mug. I said he was British level tops. If you think British level is mug level then that's your choice but I was replying to a poster who claimed Eubank had 'beaten a champion', as if he was a genuine world champ. That's all Len.

Yeah of course Quinlan wasn't best of the best, not true world level, but it wasn't a patsy either, a tough lad who wasn't going to take a dive (like Fraudley etc)

Daniel Geal who Quinlan beat isn't a mug either.

It was a good honest win for CEJ especially since he didn't really get out of second gear

It's the same with pretty much every fight. Awful footwork, off balance way too much, no genuine power and a weird need to posture even when he throws an uppercut from the other side of the ring.

His athleticism is fantastic. Really fast and seems to have good stamina (although he takes long periods off and then just works in short bursts, usually how a stoppage comes about). I don't think 168 suits him though. This was the first time against a stronger man than him

Quinlan looked probably British level based off of that. Not a natural boxer at all. Seemed tough but we seem to say most of Jr's opponents looks tough despite him being the common denominator. Bigging him up because he stopped the ghost of Geale at a weight he's never fought at is stupid really. This guy lost in a fight for the Australian SMW title not so long ago. Though he did pick up the prestigious PABA title I guess

Eubank-Ryder next - stick your gyro on it.

I really wouldnt and didnt look too much into the Geale KO... As you said Geale was past it (over a year ago), he was a small middleweight let alone SMW!, he stepped right onto the punch from Quinlan also in that fight. Quinlan was very basic in there against Eubank, durable but basic.

PS if I were Groves Id be big time looking for a crack at Eubank... the IBO may not be very well respected or even a legit World Title but might be his best shot

What's happening with his fight with Chudinov for the WBA, is that signed, sealed and delivered?

I agree and I was actually pleasantly surprised with some of his work and his will to win especially in the first half of the fight before it got too much for him. I wouldn't mind seeing him again in a more evenly matched fight.

He should go to India and give Vijender Singh a beating, easy win.Despite being a average/poor boxer hes a superstar there one of the biggest celebrities in India... cause they are completely hopeless and desperate at Sport. Eubank would have millions of new fans in India.
