As far as the Green v Mundine fight was concerned, I thought the doctor had overriding power to call it off if Green was concussed?

Have a read see what you think fabs - IMO a bunch of spin stating that he wanted it stopped in the first, blah, blah, blah then goes on to say he gave in to pressure and something to the effect of "your on your own" and IMO throws the ref, judges and other doc under the bus whilst holding himself blameless.

The bout was a BS risk from day one and not the first time.

See the article - apparently one doc wanted it to stop, one wanted it to go. :argue:

Not a Mundine fan here at all (Heard nothing but good things about him out of ring when cameras off from mutiple ppl)
However... I cant recall a fighter getting robbed 3 times in a fight!!!!!!!!!!
Point 1 - Havnt seen it propper enough to score it myself....... However, rd1.... If ref didnt call break its a ko, if he did call break its dq, or Green should have been given 5 mins if fight to continue with point deduction....

Point 2... Rd 7? The point..... How 1 judge could have it 10/10??????? May need a bit of clarification on this, green loses point, so if he gives rd to Green does that make it 9/9, however with 10 point must does that mean it should have been 10/9 Mundine, AT WORST????? (I thought it was a Mundine rd so 10/8 if I was scoring, was 1 rd I managed to watch uninterrupted...)

Point 3... 96-94 Green, score rd 7 correct n its a MD at worst, plus 98-90... COME ON....

FOOTNOTE... Problem I have with Mundine is all the talk, Im best ever etc.... If he had of come out n said Im best in country n giving paydays to Aus fighters, (Warters, Hamden etc etc) Id have no problem with him...
Clottey fight, I thought he showed heart I never expected from Mundine,
Rabchenko I give him full credit for winning early rounds n surviving to take a close but clear decision in my eyes....
Geale 1 - I scored to Mundine close by 1-3 rds from memory (Had geale winning 7,8,9 rds in rematch from memory)

I hate every decision being questioned n appeals over official cards in boxing however in this case I WOULD SAY MUNDINE HAS 100% GROUNDS TO APPEAL..... (As stated, I havnt rewatched to give my thoughts on my scoring, it looked close on interupted coverage I saw, JUST THE END FACTS.... rd1, rd7, n 2 cards) I cannot say who I thought won 100% as would need to rewatch n score myself, Mundine did come on big time, just the points on official scores....

(Prob already handed in cards for Pac v Horn, Does Pac know there is no commission in QLD?)

Point being - not a Mundine fan, (or Green really either) Dont hate either, just see the truth n Mundine offically robbed in my eyes..... My honest assessment to this very pro Mundine thread...

I watched a dodgy you-tube version had Green by a point but it was poor quality couldn't even watch it full screen. The threads on it are better than the actual fight. Mundine is apparently appealing the decision.

I haven't seen the whole fight, just the contentious bits, but for me if it was officiated properly then it is KO1 for Mundine.
I followed the RBR and it seemed to be a very close fight ruined by incompetent officials. Mundine has every right to appeal IMO.

I agree, at the very least I expect the scorecards to be corrected for majority draw.
