With fury's mammoth height, he doesn't need to be gung ho and have power. His punch output along with his formidable reach gives him an advantage over a lot of Heavyweights. He might not have much pop in a single shot, but the sheer size behind his punches along with the volume, have a cumulative affect. He knows how to keep the range and he will use every inch of his height to his advantage. He'll lean on you until your lungs are screaming for oxygen as if they were submerged under sea. He'll also make sure that you are kept guessing while he randomly switches between orthodox and southpaw. Being a unique fighter is what makes him difficult to beat, not so much based on one or two abilities alone. If you look or one single great strength in Fury's arsenal, then you would be forgiven for assuming he is a limited fighter.
Don't totally agree. I think you actually can distill him down to roughly one ability, and that is: Movement. He's the king of footwork. And this is hugely supplemented by his switch hitting, colossal reach and stature, and surprisingly good stamina. But it's really all about movement for Fury. In my opinion.
Ridiculous post. He lost to Brewster under Steward. You can't wash away the Brewster loss by claiming he was the same guy from the Purrity fight. Wlad was in his absolute prime when he fought Ray Mercer as his fans always point to that fight to highlight his best performance.
No , they blew his wad for him. He couldn't handle the pressure. Are you going to give Pricey a pass for losing to Hammer?
Brewster was the first fight under Steward. He hadn't incorporated all of Steward's advice yet. You can say Mercer was a great performance by Wlad, but Wlad only truly became a diamond under Steward. Steward's Wlad is prime Wlad.
Brilliance? C'mon man, that was the worst and most boring heavyweight fight I can remember.. Didn't they combine to throw the least amount of punches in a heavyweight championship fight? I could care less about both fighters but that fight was atrocious.
Cliff Ethinne and Charlie Shufford didn't require Manny's services in order to beat Brewster. What you are saying is Wlad wasn't good enough to rule over the worst run of bums in the sports history without the services of a hall of fame trainer. Its very conceivable that a total can like Peters would have knocked him out twice had Manny not thought him how to clinch like an octopus.
Tyson Fury is depressed from these GLBTQXYZ, feminist, migrants, racists, etc, etc. You dumb son of bitches with your constant harassment, hate mail and not giving Fury any respect ( while Josua had the red carpet rolled out for him) made him turn to cocaine and had banned from boxing. I am tied your crap! Wlad Klitschko compared Tyson Fury to Hitler. Fury responded accordingly and totally owned Wlad. This content is protected
sweet jesus...ive seen some of your work gassing up the MW division for your hero golovkin......but this...this is truly amazing
People very often are amazed by my posts Soon, Golovkin will beat Jacobs, and the crowds will go wild.
Sanders got the chance to show his world class talent against Rahman in an eliminator to face Lewis. Why do you say he never got the fights to prove himself when he did ?
he should probably beat jacobs if hes really anything near the fighter people think he is......the crowd might even go wild....but how many are going to buy the fight on ppv?
