Both guys from probably there finest moments, which ones leaving the ring smiling? Can tyson wreck big daddy or does bowe prove top dog!?

I'm apt to picking Tyson by a close and hard fought decision over 12 rounds but I say that with no real conviction. It's probable that R. Bowe was better than anyone Tyson ever faced during is reign.

I see this bout being just as exciting as the Bowe/Holyfield fight. Tyson was undefeated at that point and had great confidence. Bowe would have been the most dangerous fighter by far Tyson would have faced at that point in his career, I really can't pick a clear winner.

What a fight this would be.
I lean towards bowe, by late tko or close but clear decision.
I like his jab and infighting skills to do the job.

It's one of those fantasy fights that split people the most probably for modern era fighters. What's so annoying is that they could have met when tyson got out of jail. OK it wasn't the prime tyson or bowe by then.. But still what a match up. By then of course tyson had done time and been out three years and bowe had been battling holy field, so neither men would have been at there best.

But I agree with Wass, if they'd met prime then this could have been a war. Both men determine to knock the other one out , both throwing solid punches. Bowe working inside, throwing the upper cuts, tyson trying to slip the punches to get in with his own bombs!

They are from the same neighbourhood and knew each other, I don't think either fighter wanted the fight particularly Tyson. He was asked about Bowe by Larry King in an interview and Tyson didn't want it.

That's interesting, never new They didn't really want to fight each other. Suppose it's one of those things that just wasn't meant to be. But would have been interesting if they d have had to fight

Tyson wanted no part of Bowe. I don't care what year, or what fight Tyson was in. He never wanted to fight Bowe. Bowe in his short prime would KO any version of Mike Tyson.

Bowe would get obliterated. The man had no defense. It would start like the Tucker fight and end like the Pink fight.

Slow Bowe was a human punching bag who was over the hill by 28 because he took to many beatings. Tyson KO.

One important advantage for bowe is stamina, tyson's punch output wasn't very good in the late rounds while bowe threw them punches in bunches against holyfield all night long

Styles make fights. Even though Tyson was ill prepared for Douglas the fight showed the
blue print to beat Tyson. A strong jab follow by uppercuts and a big heart. The Bowe that
fought Holyfield would be a stern test for any hw schooled by Eddie Futch and well
conditioned and disciplined. Not the bloated loafer Bowe later in career.
Bowe was for more skilled than Douglas. Bowe by late ko.

This would be a very close fight not because tyson liked to rest in the clinches and bowe wouldn't let him.
