Martinez has been brought in as a name no more no less. It's a good scalp to have, but Martinez is on the decline and Warrington is only getting better. The betting odds should give the true picture, but Martinez is a name and that makes it saleable to the public who won't remember the Quigg bout.
It's an okay enough matchup, but Martinez hasn't had a notable win in nearly 3 years. He drew with a guy with 19 L's just two fights back. Warrington should win comfortably enough
Joke fight, Martinez is done, totally finished. You don't have two hard fights against Frampton and beat downs by Quigg and LSC and remain anywhere near peak condition. Warrington is a mug, ducked Selby and I can't wait until his dirty looking teeth get caved in.
shame one of these guys has to lose.....if Kiko shows up in shape and wants it then he could still have a lot to offer. Fair play to Warrington. Good fight.
Not the most exciting fight but cud b interesting early doors but then I expect Warrington to out work to wide points or even late stoppage.
It's just a decent fight, nothing else. LSC and Quigg had the power to hurt Martinez but I can't see Warrington putting a dent in Martinez unless he's completely finished. If Martinez is at least 50% of what he was (whilst on PEDs) it'll be a good little test. Let's be honest, with Fish Eyes and the unconditional football type Leeds support - it could of been a lot worse.
