Chad Dawson vs Fonfara who do you got? Fonfara is a really good fighter he gave Stevenson hell, knock out Chavez jr. Dawson is the more skilled of the 2. Not sure how much Dawson has left, now that Virgil Hunter is training Fonfara.

I think it'll look like Fonfara-Campillo with Dawson outboxing Fonfara for the first 5 or 6 rounds until he starts gassing then gets caught with something he didn't see coming go down and stay down maybe by choice.

Dang. This is really a must win fight for both of them. I think if the best dawson possible shows up, he wins. But I have this feeling it's more likely Fonfara wants it more.

I just have a gut feeling that Dawson will win and re establish himself as a contender at 175

Dawson just dropped Alvarez in a sparring...

Seems like it affected Alvarez a lot.

There's no question Chad is better and has beaten far better guys than
Fonfara, but I don't know how much is left in his tank.

I'm still picking Chad. It's said how far he's fallen as Fonfara
would've been a tune up just a few years ago for him.

Dawson is done... I'd pick Fonfara by KO.

polish prince has been clocked last two fights joe smith junior epic knock the F out. stevenson rung bells. Too early for this prince to be back in the ring after being stopped like that.

I disagree with just about all of this aside from "beaten far better guys". Not sure how you can say no question Chad is better. Chad has looked like absolute garbage against guys with a pulse lately. He was murked against Adonis, murked against Ward, lost to Karpency who Fonfara beat. Not to mention, Dawson hasn't been in the ring with a true champion in almost 4 years.

Fonfara did indeed just get stopped early, but there is a reason that was one of the Upsets of The Year. He recently beat Cleverly and Chavez Jr. He is used to being in against good competition, Dawson has not done that in quite some time.

Fonfara by dominant performance, late stoppage in my eyes. Unless Dawson miraculously turned back the clock to 2009.

Chad's more skilled than alot of guys- that's never been the question with him. There's just a couple of X-factors missing that kept him to the level of very good instead of great/P4P- primarily coasting too much. Punch resistance is also a question mark now.

Still, even faded, this is a very winnable fight for Chad- if he shows up for it. If not, his weakness will play into Fonfara's strengths and Fonfara could very well take over enough for a KO or points win. I don't consider Fonfara a great talent, but he is a good one. It really boils down to what Dawson's got left in the tank. He's probably done, but I've seen vets that looked dead in the water bring back one last good performance too much to want to bet on it.
