I've just seen a story, Neither nico Hernandez or stevenson could beat Ramirez but both are moving on to better things while Ramirez is still chasing the same goals he already achieved, doesn't look promising at the minute for ramirez going pro

Ramirez doesn't need to turn pro, the pros are not 'better'. Robeisy Ramirez can get himself a third Olympic Gold, one of the GOAT sporting achievements in history.

what's the point of waiting 4 years where he could just get robbed again like he did twice in two qualifiers before the game's, if you didn't know aiba have now 5 judges judging every fight, so maybe that will improve it, i would personally have 10 judges

With a chance to make history of this sort, it's worth all of the risk. He's only just turned 23, he'll be 26 during the next Olympic games. Given there have been medalists who are 30+ ...screw it, he could probably get a 4th Olympic Gold if he's still as sharp

It doesn't matter so much to me how many judges they have, they're still AIBA judges and can potentially eat from the same corrupt hand.

maybe if he won a third gold, he'd be ridiculously fast tracked, kind of like how teofilo stevenson vs Ali was proposed

He'd only be 27 years old if he turns pro after the third Olympics. Still up to 5 years of complete prime left, he could accomplish more than enough in that time. 15 fights against the best is all he'll need.

I suppose the good thing is he'd be the only pro ever who had three gold medals, he'd probably get fights pretty easy because of that, still would rather see him go pro now, and his style is really good to watch to

Lazlo Papp had three Gold medals and turned pro, but I like Robeisy's chances more (obviously) if he's as motivated in pros as he was for Olympic tournaments. His style translates well to pros. Would be nice rather than having to wait to see him fight once every two years in the World Am's.
