Nice footage. Its crazy how small these guys were, especially Louis opponents with the exception of a few.

More and more I'm starting to lean towards favoring today's heavyweights (90's-present) over Louis.

I know, he hit the man with his best shots and didn't really hurt him. Imagine if Lennox Lewis hit him with that one-two he knocked Rahman out with, they would have been burying the poor soul.

People are so lost. You do not see Louis skill level in today's hwts. Just his ability to parry would be a revelation vs today's amateur level talent.

Rampage was knocked unconscious and had to be carried to his corner like a limp rag from one single Louis left hook.

So many fans of the last 20 30 yrs get caught up on the size of todays fighters, as opposed to can that fighter really fight. I'd pick Louis over D.Wilder. The fighters I'd pick to beat Louis, Lewis the Kleischkos, a Tua a few other had some skill, along with great size. I pick no one against Ali. Simple skills like slipping and countering punches, parring, keeping feet outside of opponents, meaningful combinations, keeping technique even when tired. Is rarely seen in today's fight game and hardly anytime in heavyweight boxing.
