His lack of work ethic, his showboating, his constant holding/clinching, his cold spots of inactivity.
What irritates me the most about Broner is that he doesn't know how to balance out the fact that he was born a dam fool. He doesn't know what his role should be in building and maintaining his career. He sticks his foot in his mouth every chance he gets
pretty much the sad thing is you could see with zab...late in his career when hes was getting ready for the vernon paris fight...u could see he had matured and wished he had it back.....you could tell he knew the paydays were gonna stop soon and this was the twilight and he was wishing he had taken it more seriously
Ricky Burns is undoubtedly worse mate. I'd pick AB to beat him fairly comfortably. On topic, the thing that aggravates me most if his repeated failure to make weight. It's inexcusable IMO. You have months to prepare, train right you lazy ****s.
Lol that was a crazy statement Broner has never been a champion in my eyes just a title holder, you aint a champion unless you beat one of the top guys in the division for the belt or you have two or more belts.
Great point about taking a loss or two it's one of my bug bears,I mean do we think less of Sugar Ray Leonard because he lost, and you're right for some reason the fans have become so hard on losses nowadays, not many doing what Brook and Spence are doing. As for Broner his inactivity in fights gets me,does too little and pays for it like against Porter and Maidana, remember he wasn't knocked out, just did too little.
He started off as a good entertainer, alot of potential, then lost it tryin to be ghetto fabulous and a bad imitation of Floyd. He's not goin to change over night, but you have to respect him for going on national tv and asking for an apology. I face palmed when he was about to start with his bs again sayin postfight Granados was an easy fight, then suddenly Granados met him face to face in the center of the ring, and AB changed his tone. LMAO He also was actin like a kid when they were pullin his glove off, I understand he's in pain, but a grown man doesn't slither to the ground like that! Men don't throw tantrums like that!
Name me one of those guys he. beat who were great fighters? Broner is talented dude but let's face it his a weight bully and once he got up to welterweight he was found out. I don't hate Broner or anything, I think there's a lot of good fights for him but I wouldn't pick him against any of the top names. If he's smart he will drain himself and hide down at 140 where there's no one great yet except Crawford.
