How will Charlo do at 160?

The only thing I know for sure is that he's qualified to be there. The rest is up to him.

 

He's going to walk down and knock out GGG whenever he gets around to it. Finally there's an A level fighter in the MW division.

 

Yeah totally,he's a big lad and I reckon the extra six pounds will suit him,Maybe one of GGGs mismatches like Gale or Monroe let him find his feet.

 

His trainer Ronnie Shields said he walks around ~175 so expect him to be better at middleweight in every single category.

Oh I agree how good did he look against Williams,big stretch to call him KOing GGG but I'd put him right at the top of pile to be competive against him which is actually something in itself,I wanna see if Jacobs can win a round first let alone beat GGG,my eyes tell me Golovkins good but I need to see it against top quality.

 

Oh I'm sure he'd go after Canelo as it'd be so lucrative but Oscar wouldn't let him face Charlo,all wrong for him I reckon.

Put that boy in with the Cinnamon challenge. Let's see if Charlo is ready for the main stage, the big boys and it'll give Cinnamon another reason not to fight GGG

 

Yeah me too. I also think that Lubin might move up. Them young boys can rumble and are getting better with each fight. GGG is gonna have to pack his junk in his trunk and move to 168 or get ran over.

 

Charlo's power comes largely from the timing and placement of his punches so I think he will carry it up to 160 quite well. His reflexes are out of sight and he gets a lot of torque on his punches as well. His skill set could spell disaster for anyone in the mw division. It will be fun and interesting to see how far he goes.

 

The outcome of Williams vs Charlo is what happens when there is no drug testing for the fight.

That being said, Charlo has a decent jab, and looked decent against Williams. He seemed to be getting outboxed by a tad bit, but his power was the equalizer. I don't see anybody at 160 with Williams' boxing ability. He should do fine. I don't see him having a problem with midgets like Lemieux, and Stevens, or scrubs like N'Jkam, Wade, etc. He'll be fine. He should get a fight or two under his belt and then try for Jacobs or Golovkin. We already know that coward Canela won't fight him.
