Those guys were bigger. Mayweather is slightly smaller than Mosley. I'm rolling with the bigger man.

People need to get the hell over this stuff about Mayweather "Always found a way to win". Let it go, it's not all that relevant when discussing these matchups.

Oscar De La Hoya would go undefeated if he had Mayweather's resume. And do it in more impressive fashion as well.

In boxing if you have a 20 year career and you never face an elite fighter in their prime despite fighting in 5 weight divisions and you are a financial reward then it's more likely that you weren't interested in fighting risky opponents.

not ignoring the top rank / GBP split which basically cuts your options in half id like to know who u wanted him to fight instead of who he fought, up to 147 he went the best way about it, remember floyds FIRST PPV was at 140 vs gatti, an i think it did somewhere around 300k ? he was not a big star when he was calling out established stars like oscar and to a lesser extent mosley

At lightweight, I'd still probably side with Floyd but I wouldn't call it a forgone conclusion either.

For me this is it right here, jack Mosley power boxing BS, no jab, no IQ

I got Floyd, who was also a beast at the lower weights. Just a more complete fighter and always was

Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez, Erik Morales, Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao, Shane Mosley. Somehow, someway Floyd Mayweather managed to not fight a single one of these guys while in their prime.

How can you answer the fact that your idol never took a top opponent in his prime? You better sharpen your knife cause you'll be loss for words for this one. And it goes on and on...even Sr. is making his son looking like a fool for wanting to take on McGregor saying that he would beat him even at age 63. Enough said.

When will you realize that top prime guys ducked a prime PBF like the plague.:deal: Guys like Mosley or Oscar when Oscar was at 147 wanted no parts of PBF, he was seen as too high risk too low reward but blame PBF right? BTW my knife always stays sharp. If he fights McGregor big deal it's nothing more than cash grab an easy way to make $100 million I don't blame him, he's retired anyway.

Ah he didn't lose was injured going in to the fight and was his first fight at that weight out weighed by 15 pounds or more even still it was very close fight and PBF got the win and in the rematch a healthy PBF showed you who the better fighter was. Those fights you used were robberies especially Pea-JCC there was no case that could be made that JCC beat Pea there's a case and a good one that can be made that PBF beat JLC in their first fight, big difference between the two fights, horrible comparison. Lastly, he's a monster undefeated in 3 different decades never knocked down hurt on a few times in the ring lost only a handful of rounds in his prime and the best fighter of this era a true ATG deal with it.
