Duran stops Castillo in mid rounds, stops Arguello in late rounds, wins UD against Chavez in a barnburner, wins UD against Mayweather in a stinker, and squeaks past Whitaker for a SD in a fight that has many different ebbs and flows.

Don't believe he would stop Castillo. TKO's Arguello very late. I'd favor Mayweather to win a UD. Chavez wins by SD. I cannot pick a winner between Duran and Whitaker for the life of me.

I agree that Duran stops Castillo considering that he hit way harder than Floyd AND Castillo was stopped at least 4 times at 135 lbs

I don't see Mayweather fighting a prime Duran, Duran defeats everyone else on your list, he defeats Castillo, dec possibly late stoppage. Arguello dec,(possibly after being knocked down). Chavez,a tough, tough fight but Duran was just a little better in all phases of the game. Whitaker,at lightweight, would be his toughest match-up, a super fast, lefthander with heart, just don't see Whitaker having the power to keep prime Duran honest. Duran by majority/split dec.

Arguello: Duran UD or late TKO
Sweet Pea: Close UD or SD, Whitaker gives Duran the toughest fight of this list
Chavez: Duran UD with both taking a beating, this one of the fantasy matchups ever IMO.
    Castillo: Duran mid-late KO/TKO
    Floyd: Duran UD

You think Chavez would beat duran? Don't get me wrong Chavez was great, legacy accomplishment wise but duran was not just flat out better but had the stylistic advantage. It would be an exciting fight but a pretty clear victory for duran imo

I believe that Chavez was the sharper puncher. They both were body killers, but I favor Chavez's body assault He was very durable and I think he'll eventually outscored Duran.

Chavez Sr was 100% not a sharper puncher than lightweight Duran. I think this would be an epic fight but the faster/sharper and considerably slicker Duran wins a UD. Durans great defence and instinctive counter-punching on the inside would be too much for Chavez.

I agree Duran was better and would win but style wise I think it would make quite a competitive fight, both would take quite a pasting IMO.

Whiitiker and Mayweather would frustrate Duran just as Sugar Ray did. The other two he might beat.

Because Chavez had a great chin and would keep coming he would take terrible punishment, but I don't believe duran would take that many punches to the head. IMO Chavez takes terrible punishment just to consistently get close at first. Lands some good body punches that slow duran down but not much to the head.
Chavez loses atleast 5 out of the first 6. Chavez closes the gap but duran still gets a slight upper hand on the inside due to his slickness and better infighting ability. Finding himself behind 8/4 or 9/3 after 12 Chavez goes for it but gets beaten in a slugfest the last 3 rounds because duran is landing his but Chavez can't tag duran on the head consistently. Chavez May go down once in the last few rounds but loses a decision IMO.
