7 landed punches per round by Fury. 4 landed punches per round by Wlad. It was hardly even a sparring session. People act like Fury put on some masterclass boxing clinic when in fact out landed his old opponent by only 3 punches per round.
It's a common mistake of the contracted verb "have", For example, instead of writing could have, one writes could've. If the writer does not know about this contracted verb rule, they might make the mistake and write "of". In the case of the OP, he should have written "have".
There was Nothing "close" about that fight. I couldn't give Vladimir more than 3 rounds in that fight.
maybe Fury is great, but he has a **** resume himself. wasn't impressive versus Wlad. never fought anyone worth a damn otherwise, looked like crap on more than a few occasions.
Vitali would have ***** whipped him. Wladimir would have knocked him out if the rematch had occurred. Will Fury ever get back in the ring again...only the nut doctors can say.
9-3 was the correct score in my opinion too. However, a lot of those rounds had very little action (i.e. Fury landed a few jabs only) so I'm willing to call it a relatively close fight. To put it into perspective, a prime Vitali surely KOs that version of Wlad.
Vitali never walked through anybody's punches in his entire career. In what fights did Vitali ever do that? Vitali had no defence against big men and angles are his worst nightmare. Fury beats him easier than he did the better and more technical harder hitting younger younger brother.
Thats what happens when the champion doesn't want to fight and refuses to engage. Was it Lewis fault that Akawandy was all over him like a squid?? No. Anywhere else in the world Wlad would have been forced to fight and the result would have been a stoppage loss for him.
Fury another win on points, if Wlad is too old what does that make Vitali, remeber Fury getting his hands wrapped for that fight with Vitali watching and Fury saying he as next and just chilling out, brilliant.
true, but in this case i think actually those were furys best days. on his worst day he'd have been stopped by them.
