Are we forgetting that Szpilka was beating Wilder before the fight stopped?

    Wilder was getting outboxed and landed the lucky KO punch, otherwise he was the worse fighter.

    Szpilka could have went on cruise control and won 1 out of the next 3 rounds and won that fight. Wilder is lucky to have picked up that victory.

    Wilder is not a world class fighter. He does not come close to Klitschko, Fury, and Joshua.

    The scorecards disagreed. But I agree I thought Szpilka was ahead. Wilder has poor coordination and Szpilka's head fakes caused him a lot of trouble. Szpilka just wasn't disciplined and jumped in with his head down and it cost him. Wilder is not near Wlad or Povetkin. Joshua takes him out too.

    AND lets keep in mind... Szpilka had surgery on his left hand immediately after this fight. He couldn't use his power arm majority of the fight lol

    The point of this thread is what? Marciano got beat by 2 bums and got gift wins. Ali lost to Doug Jones a bum and got a gift win. Wlad Klitscko got knocked out by 3 bums. Tyson Fury got knocked down by 1 punch by a blown up cruiserweight who couldn't punch. Tyson got knocked out by Buster Douglas a nobody.

    The racial hatred on this forum for black fighters like Wilder is alarming. I don't know how many threads need to be made to insult him.

    wilder will have trouble with any heavyweight who can move or decent head movement mostly because he swings wild so much and they would just make him look bad for 12 rounds. but due to his power it only takes 1 shot over 12 rounds.

    I must watch the fight again! Although it was a tough back and forth fight I had Wilder ahead until he put Spitz to sleep. One punch knockout power is sometimes better than a wealth of skill.

    I agree, it annoys the hell out of me as well.

    But at least I'm consistent and find the GGG hate and obsession equally annoying and creepy.

    Which I'm sure you'd agree with me on 100%...... or not. :lol:

    I recall having the fight somewhat even until Wilder laid the hammer. You'll find most fans interpret fight climates based on what they original expected or they interpret a fight based on what their sub conscious truly desires. Arthur wasn't doing much more than past Wilder opponents if anything he did worse because he never buzzed DW. Oh well, fact is he was splattered on the canvas.
