David Tua vs Rocky Marciano

If you read this forum without knowing anything about boxing you'd think David Tua was an ATG, undisputed champion who was nigh on unstoppable. I liked Tua but I don't get it.....

 

If you read this forum without knowing anything about boxing you'd think that nothing has changed in the heavyweight division over the past decades and that their is equivalence in level of performance across time.

 

Everything was comparable until the steroids came in.

 

Lol what does Tua being a all time great have to do with him being a 225 pound heavyweight and Marciano being a 180 pound cruiserweight who fought cruiserweights and lost to some of them.

That is like saying well since Deontay Wilder isn't considered a all time great and Sugar Ray Robinson is that means Robinson would win. 2 different weight classes .

Marciano wasn't a all time great even at 180. Racist white people just need him to be their hero and will never understand how big of a joke Maricano was a his own weight class.

 

But Deontay Wilder and Sugar Ray Robinson don't share a similar height and reach...

If they did and the only physical difference was that one was grotesquely deformed with "modern advances" class would come into it.

Marciano was a worthless piece of trash that only racist white people like you love to pull out of your ass. He wasn't good enough to beat 177 pound 70-68 Ted Lowry and 180 pound Roland LaStarza but he could beat modern size heavyweights. Because you know, he is white.

Tua was a powerhouse that was one dimensional. He could be outboxed far more easily than Marciano could be, however stylewise this is a terrible matchup for Rocky.
Two come forward fighters both with great chins but one has a clear advantage in size and power. I think you're asking a lot for Marciano to stand toe to toe with Tua at 188lbs.
This doesn't detract from Marciano's greatness all fantasy matchups are subjective. What we do know is that Marciano dominated the fighters that were put in front of him and they were great fighters despite being old in years all with the exception Louis still had lot of gas in the tank when they fought.

Right the Ezzard Charles who was a natural 175 pound fighter. You are a funny guy. Chris Byrd had 47 bouts and 42 of them he was a heavyweight. Marciano had 49 fights and was either a cruiserweight or less.

I noticed that you and your fellow Marciano never have a answer about why Maricano got beat by 177 pound club fighter Ted Lowry and almost got knocked out by him. Because I guess it would prove how pathetic and worthless Marciano was. A bum who best wins were over washed up Joe Louis, Washed up Ezzard Charles, washed up Jersey Joe Walcott and washed up Archie Moore. Guys who weren't modern sized heavyweights but he could beat a modern sized heavyweight because of what now? On that note like any other person who is a fan of Rocky Marciano the most worthless pathetic boxer who ever live I block.
