Round SIX: Before the round begins, Gonzalez seems to be vomiting in his corner. Claiming he had something lodged in his throat. Now back to the action. Gonzalez using that moment of extra time to catch a second wind comes out banging. Nothing in return from Lafreniere. Now with just over half the round remaining, Lafreniere starts throwing more than pitty pat punches. Beautiful left by Gonzalez, snaps Lafreniere's head back, not once but twice. Lafreniere trying to mount a comeback in the final 30 seconds, lands a solid right hand. Great round for both.

Round SEVEN: Lafreniere comes out landing a couple lefts to the body. Gonzalez having his moment, now its Lafreniere's turn to score with some punches. Both men trading uppercuts in close, Gonzalez gets the better of the exchange. Big right hand for Gonzalez.

Round EIGHT: Lafreniere sprints across the ring, both men go to to the phone-booth fighting. Gonzalez with a short compact combination, Lafreniere doesn't budge. Both men leaning on each other, Gonzalez with a rapid succession of punches, no real power on them but still scoring. Lafreniere foolishly keeps walking in to Gonzalez's punches. As the round comes to an end, both combatants fire away.

Round NINE: Lafreniere with his patent sprint to meet Gonzalez at the ropes. Both throwing, missing, hitting, no slowing down, no giving up among them. Just over a minute to go before the end of the round, Gonzalez with a left hook, then backed in to the ropes. Gonzalez teeing off on Lafreniere, easily winning the round.

Round TEN: Show of respect before the round begins, Lafreniere & Gonzalez touch gloves and immediately rekindle their love affair with the ropes. Halfway through, no slowing down for either, Lafreniere lands a solid punch. Simultaneous uppercuts by both, GREAT FIGHT...Two great warriors put it all on the line.
