That's absolutely nonsense parker is signed to fight fury in April and fury for parker will be no pushover.

 

Where have you got this information from? I thought Parker had signed to fight Fury in April

 

Parker will step into the ring, but not explicitly to announce a unification fight. Instead he will invite Wilder to his fight with Hughie with a view to unifying should he win.

 

He should NOT overlook Hughie.

 

I think I red somewhere that after Fury (should Parker win that is) he will look to fight Wilder in May. Joes a very active fighter with 5 fights last year including the winning of the world title. Ill try and find the article.

I'll be amazed if this happens, not because of Parker but because of Wilder's reluctance to fight quality opposition.

Ideal scenario will be the winner of Wilder/Parker fighting the winner of Joshua/Klitschko for all the marbles.

Pushing this Wilder/Parker into September at the earliest. Tight timetable for the Wilder side. So it's likely a mandatory for Wilder next after Washington. The WBC hasn't sorted that out yet.

 

Yes, actually Parker/Wilder camps told ESPN the earliest timeframe for a unification is August/September, so not sure what Wilder will do in-between. It's a bit too long to wait, especially as there is a chance that Hughie pulls the upset.

The WBC need to sort out their act and remove Stiverne from #1 (what has he done to deserve that?), then enforce a mandatory. Ortiz, Whyte, etc. are all decent options.

 

Has to be a mando he's had 5 consecutive volutaries against some shocking oppoaition anything less would be a disgrace.

 

WBC can change their rules as they see fit. A mandatory on a short time table like this would be Stiverne, you'd **** talk that too. Wilder should keep doing what he needs to do.

 

Wilders fanboys are perfectly content with him playing it safe and fighting meaningless fight after meaningless fight. Stiverne being rated #1 by the WBC is an absolute joke.
