As for Wilder, can see exactly why he ducked Povetkin: slow, easy to hit and none too convincing over the five rounds given Washington is essentially a club fighter.

Mercer was infinitely better than Stiverne. Stiverne has three wins against guys who were even decent. Mercers win vs Morrison trumps Stivernes entire career. then consider his debatable loss to Lewis, wins vs Damiani, Witherspoon, and Cooper.

 

I doubted his credibility till he agreed to fight povetkin in russia.

Mercer also went tooth and nail with Holyfield and gave Lewis a great fight....these guys that big up Stiverne ???Really its twilight zonish to me.
