The fact that Wilder got 4.5 m for not fighting, did this spur him on to fight more mediocre men?

    I've gone on record saying that if he does not step it up this year, I won't support him any longer. Why is he fighting Stiverne again? Yeah I know Don King had a say in this, but this is just bull****.

    Well this only applies if this fight takes place!

    He's fought 1 top 10 man in the last 6 years, and it doesn't look like he'll be fighting the Parkers, Furys, Wlads, Hayes, Takams anytime soon. They say he'll fight the winner of Breazeale/Whyte next? **** that.

    Obviously he gets a pass for Pedvekin's bs, as well as the Washington fight for coming off surgery etc. But this is not acceptable!

    I agree that Stiverne 2 is BS, but it's a mandatory. So in this case Wilder (for a change) isn't to blame. Although I sure don't hear him complaining about it.

    If he faces Parker in a unification this year then much is forgiven.

    IF.

    If the winner of a hypothetical Parker/Wilder match (and I'm betting on Parker) meets with the winner of AJ/Wlad, we could have a unified belt. I'm guessing that if Wlad gets past AJ, he'll make significant concessions to the Wilder/Parker winner to get that fight made. The guy is aging as he sits there.

    Not all is lost, yet.

    It looks like Wilder's complete year will be:

    Washington,
    Stiverne 2,
    Winner of Whyte.Breazeale

    We won't see him in with a Parker an Ortiz or a Joshua until at least 2018 at the earliest.

    rules are the way they are so sport can be corrupt. hate to say it . but yea stivern doesnt deserve a mandatory shot. hes a good fighter but he hasnt done anything sense the loss to wilder. i would rather wilder pick another guy like he has been instead of seein a match up i already seen. wilder vs ortiz needs to happen now ! why not ?
