Yo....never said that Gam wasn't Quick, precise and accurate. All those things he is. Unfortunately that doesn't always add up to "W's". In boxing sometimes you have to fight and you are underestimating Guerrero.

He is a top fighter at least in the top 6 or 7 in the division. He's tough and he's a Vet...although a young vet himself he's been around with far better fighters than Gam has had the chance to face.

Guerrero also has power and is pretty accurate himself. Gam right now is not ready. He'd eat some heavy leather and end up catching some "Z's".

He needs some fine tuning at the pro level....he definitley needs a new trainer which I heard his camp is doing.......but 400+ am fights may be a bit hard to shake off as quickly as most. he's a fighter who is use to his style which is and has been a very good Ameture style. That's why its so important he gets in Pro Rounds and STEADILY progress in terms of the level of competition he faces.

    Thankyou god.:yep

We need reasoning here, not absurdity. Guerrero is not even in this class.

Guerrero has the power to KO Gamboa, and with Gamboa's sloppy defense it is quite possible. However I could see Gamboa using his slickness to outbox Guerrero, but if I had to make a prediction, Guerrero TKO 9.

    Guererro wins. :bbb

I see some people underestimate "The Ghost's" punching power and boxing skills. I suggest they watch his last two fights.

Right...but Darling isn't a POWER hitter...not even close. "WHAT IF" Darling was a puncher like Valero or PAC.:think You don't have to be Cleo the Physchic to know that outcome.

Jimenez can punch, I guess you missed out on him knocking Anchondo out cold. Barrios is a power hitter, he stopped Anchondo, but didn't knock him the **** out.

Jimenez was on a six fight KO streak also, several being real KO's, not TKO's.

Of course, if you only watched the 3 fights before that, you'd pick Gamboa by ownage.

It's hard to tell how good a fighter looks after a quick knockout, and it's easy to look good against Jason Litzau. On the other hand, he has seemed more focused ever since his wife's cancer, and that was maybe his biggest problem. I'd still favor Gamboa though. There's just too much of a gap in talent, and Guererro's style plays right into Gamboa's strengths.

I saw the Anchondo fight...but Might Mike has been floored more than a few times and Jimenez landed a perfectly timed shot. Barrios does have power for sure.

I didn't notice the 6 fight KO streak....maybe he does have more pop than I gave him credit. I still believe Gam shouldn't be brought along too quickly. He has far more talent and skills that are untapped at this point in his pro career. The only way to get him to his PEAK in both skill and talent is to nurture his ablility and progress in level by stepping up intelligently (not too fast).

Don't you want to see him 4 yrs down the road, 10 yrs down the road, ect?? If he is thrown to guys who are Vets, who are seasoned and TOP level guys, they will see what guys who have been KO or beaten by Gam didn't see and they will surely capitalize on his weaknesses at this level in boxing.
