Two proud boxers from Tijuana, Baja Mexico, respectively ranked (according to boxrec) as the #2 & #3 ranked Super Welterweights from Mexico...!!!

Soto boasts a record of 66-9-2 with 36 wins by knockout. Margarito's record consists of 40 wins, 8 losses with 27 wins coming in the scheduled distance...!!!

La Zorrita aka The Crafty Little Fox has been in the ring with the likes of Kevin Kelley, Antonio Orozco, Lucas Matthysse, Urbano Antillan.

Tijuana Tornado has shared the square circle with the likes of Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey, Shane Mosley.

Both combatants started their careers in their teenage years, both suffered early losses before transforming their careers in to decent & respectful careers.

Both fighters have had their share of tough luck losses; Soto's DQ loss to Francisco Lorenzo and Margarito's Techicla Decision loss to Daniel Santos...!!!

Both are looking for a willing dance partner for early 2017, Margarito is already slated to fight on BeIN tv, April 1, 2017.

    Who wins and how...???

Humberto is too small, Margarito breaks him down and stops him in the 10th.

Humberto is the better skilled fighter, but he's about 2 solid divisions too small. Margarito will walk through his best shots and break him down late. Are they really talking about this fight as a possibility?

Soto has balls of steel, he would take this fight; win or lose...!!! But, no there are no talks of this fight (that I know of)...!!! But like I stated in the OP, both are looking for fights early in 2017

If they were the same size, Soto would win every day of the week, but Soto's best days were at 130.
