Fair pay for a fair days work. Both guys get the same amount it keeps down the diva **** and the fighters can focus on the fight. All that A side, B side, stuff is for PPV and that model is going the way of the dinosaur.

 

The both deserve it. Those who fight the best should be applauded and well compensated.

Geez. 2 million for a very tough fight. By way of example, Thurman was paid 1.5 million to fight Guerrero just 2 years ago! This shows you how inflated the purses were back in 2015. If Thurman got 1 million for the Guerrero fight, this 2 million purse would seem more in line. Thurman was a 6-1 favorite over Guerrero while he's just over 2-1 vs Garcia.

But hey, those are the economics.
