More cowardly move? Cotto knee or Canelo vacate?

    Which was worse? The double knee take quitjob by Cotto? Or the vacate and belt surrender by Canelo?

    Not a tough one at all. A belt surrender is always worse.

    No shame in taking a knee to the better man.

    Imo i could understand why Canelo dropped the belt for financial reasons but the fact he just ducked the fight, especially after how he was talking post Khan, is one the biggest ***** moves in recent times imo.

    Please no fanagers or fantasy accountants please. Just stating my opinion.

    I wouldn't describe either incident as "cowardly", and I think it's pretty silly to describe them as such. Cotto was brutally beaten down and had nothing left in the tank, and Canelo made a business decision to pursue a more lucrative fight.

    pure desperation this thread is...nothing more.....they realize that canelo is 26 and has already done more in boxing and holds all the cards......it hurts their sheepish pride

    Cotto had more left in the tank than you think. He didn't even try to tie up Margarito or throw any punches. He just backed into the corner, received exactly 0 punches and took the knee and quit. That's not a good look.

    cotto had too much pride to tie up so he took his punches and quit...then he beat teh **** out of margarito in the rematch when bumboys gloves werent loaded...what a coward eh? id like to see what your definition of a man is.....your mother is more of a man than you

    Everybody saw the knee man. It's there, it's on tape, it happened. It was plain as day what was happening. Margarito walked in a direct path towards Cotto. Miguel then backed from one corner of the ring to the opposite corner of the ring to disengage. He ran out of room and then thought "Well damn, if I don't take this knee and quit I might get punched more".

    these guys are so embarrased by the lack of resume, career and legacy of their hero...they have to go out of their way to bash a guy like cotto who has given alot to the sport and is/was a heck of a fighter....and they have to bash a 26 year old kid who has done more than most guys already
